What business needs or situation did you have?
Landmark Healthcare needed to create a billing system that creates EDI 837 Health Care Claim Professional Files as its output to allow them to bill insurance companies for the equipment and services that they provide to clients. Landmark Healthcare also needed to process the returning EDI 835 Health Care Claim Payment/Advice files to electronically post payments against their invoices.
Landmark Healthcare spent quite some time researching different EDI Libraries and decided on RDPCrystal EDI Library after testing the trial version of the software. Some of the things that they liked about RDPCrystal EDI Libraries over the competitors were the speed and accuracy of the library as well as an easy to use API.
What led you to decide to use our product?
Quote from Customer:
RDPCrystal’s EDI Library integrates seamlessly with [.Net’s most popular Integrated Development Environment (IDE)].
The objects that the RDPCrystal EDI Library presents to the developer are structured very well and are very intuitive, the library is very easy to use and program with. If you are creating EDI files then the EDI Validation program alone is worth the price of the package. This program uses complex rules files that the user can either buy or build themselves to validate their EDI file output. The system gives the user a list of errors and warnings about their EDI, that allows users to quickly fix and modify their output programs. This package alone has probably saved me weeks of time in testing. The EDI Library processes very fast.
RDPCrystal EDI Library helped Landmark Healthcare speed up development of parsing of our 835 Files. RDPCrystal EDI Library made it very easy to get to the data that Landmark Healthcare needed very quickly.
How did our product help you to meet your goals?
RDPCrystal EDI helped Landmark Healthcare by allowing their developers to forget about all the small details of EDI. The developer can now spend more of his/her time on the business rules that he/she needs to accomplish and not have to worry about all the intricacies of dealing with the EDI.
In my opinion, the validation program is the best part of the Library. It would have taken me a very long time otherwise to find all the little errors in my EDI output files
